- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1tsp vanilla
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- Cream the sugar and the butter; add well-beaten eggs and the vanilla. Blend well.
- Combine rolled oats, baking powder and salt; add to the creamed mixture and mix well.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 or 3 inches apart on a greased baking pan.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
- Remove from pan at once to prevent breaking.
